It's more than just a few calendar dates for us. It's an entire season of celebrating & reflecting on Jesus Christ, Emmanuel. We typically begin observing Christmas on the calendar with the first Sunday of Advent. This year it falls on November 28th. There are many great family devotionals for celebrating Advent on the web. We recommend finding one that you love & gathering with your family and friends to share in the Advent wreath lighting & readings.
It begins to look a lot like Christmas around CBC the week after Thanksgiving. We're so excited to add holiday vibes all around campus for you to enjoy. Make sure to tag us at @cbcsocial if you take photos anywhere on campus.
Our Christmas sermon series, Wonder, starts on December 11th. We'd love to tell you more about it but you're just going to have to come & see what all the Wonder is about. Throughout the month you'll have several opportunities to invite your family, friends, classmates and co-workers to CBC. We're making it super easy and will provide you with everything you need to be the Good News of Jesus this holiday season.
Our Christmas Eve service times will be 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, & 6:00 PM. Make sure you arrive with plenty of time to find parking, grab a cup of Good Coffee, and get to your seats - these services fill up early and fast. Overflow seating will be available. Word to the wise, our gates will close by 8:00 PM and your car could get stuck in the parking lot if you leave and come back to get it.
On Christmas Day our facility will be closed so that we can celebrate the birth of King Jesus with our families. We hope that you too, will have a wonderful day with loved ones. We will resume our regular service times on Sunday, December 26th at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, & 1:00 PM.
